Preparing the nail plate - WHAT DO YOU NEED?

– wooden sticks

180-grade file

polishing block

dust-free pads

- nail cleaner

STEP 1. CUTICLES

Take care of cuticles – push them back with a wooden stick. You can also remove cuticles, but if you’ve never done it, it can be difficult – it’s best to start with pushing back. Push back the cuticles so that they do not come in contact with nail polishes. In addition, the nail plate appears longer and regrowth occurs later.

STEP 2. NAIL SHAPE

Give your nails the desired shape with a 180-grade file. Remember to keep the file perpendicular to the nail.

STEP 3. BUFFING THE NAIL PLATE

Don’t forget to buff the nail plate with a polishing block. You should not use any files for this purpose because they are too sharp and rough. Do it delicately – gently buff the nail plate.

STEP 4. DEGREASING

When finishing the preparations, wipe the nail plate with a dust-free cotton pad soaked in a degreaser, i.e. a nail cleaner. The plate should be perfectly clean before applying the base. If you accidentally get dirt on or rub your fingernail, wash it again. Otherwise, the base will not stick well.

Remember to use special dust-free pads for this purpose. Ordinary cosmetics swabs are not suitable because they leave fibres and particles.
